The LWUG Team

Together everyone achieves more.

We currently have a small but active committee,and membership dedicated to teamwork and fun . A sense of humour is essential!

We aim to work together closely with other groups representing disabled people.

We have opportunities to be heard on Advisory Boards organised by Liverpool Health and Social Services.

Does this instantly achieve all we want to achieve? No

Does this mean we give up in despair... occasionally tempted .... if we are honest but no.

Do you know the saying It is better to light a candle than curse the darkness...........

What Liverpool needs is YOU. Yes you  notice things .

How things need to be....

 changed ,

 physical access  improved,

facilities created

Attitudes and discrimination challenged, ignorance and lack of awareness overcome .

There are opportunities to be listened to, to influence the major providers of support services, including the Wheelchair services.

Together we can make a difference.

Whether it is letting us know  what you have experienced,
