LINks Liverpool LINk or Local Involvement Network is now launched. It is THE group commissioned and funded by Central Government to scrutinise ALL Health and Social Care activity in Liverpool.

This includes

- GP services

-Treatment Centres

-Dentistry

-Nursing Homes

what has traditionally been Social Services- financed by Liverpool City Council

- Home Care

- Direct Payments

-Home equipment

- Social Work Support

- Occupational Therpay Support

- Day Centres

- Residential Homes

- Nursing Homes

 The Liverpool LINk replaces the Community Health Councils and more recently , the Person Patient Involvement (PPI) forums. 

Liverpool LINk is part of a national network of groups and individuals set up to make sure that health and social care services are planned and delivered to meet the needs of the people that use them.
